Charlie also has extensive experience when it comes to editorial consultancy, strategy and producing content for commercial clients.
His first full-time job was for design studio Forth Studio, where he worked on the launch and subsequent issue of The Navigator, an in-room magazine for Marriott International’s Renaissance Hotel group. He left Forth in 2015 to join the content marketing agency John Brown Media (now Dentsu Creative), where he spent three years writing and editing across a range of topics for clients including Vitality, The Royal British Legion, TSB and Waitrose Food.
Since going freelance in 2018, Charlie has used the skills and experience learned during his full-time positions to write advertorials and branded content for companies big and small and various publications. He’s adept at finding the right tone of voice to match the target audience and writing copy that feels authentic while meeting the client’s requirements and brief.
He has also worked on copywriting projects for some of the biggest brands in cycling.
